2♥14 is just round the corner

2014 is just round the corner and I am wrapping up my year 2013. It has been very busy and, especially in the second half, also very much wearing me out. Somewhere on the way I lost blogging and it has been a very long time, since I posted. I nearly forgot how to do it! Yeeks!

2014 ist nicht mehr weit und ich schließe 2013 für mich ab. Es war ein sehr lebhaftes und, besonders in der zweiten Hälfte, ein Jahr das mich sehr in Anspruch genommen hat. Irgendwo auf dieser Strecke hab ich dann auch mit dem bloggen aufgehört. Ich habs schon fast vergessen, wie man das macht! Hilfe!

Looking back and thinking about what has happened over the course of 2013, I also like to take notice of the things, that worked for me and the ones that did not. And blogging is definitely on the list of things I want to revive! The second part of 2013 gave me a lot of health issues and I am glad that they now seam to be getting much better. Having an operation (even if it was only a small one!) just before the holidays is definitely not on my list of things, that I want to keep!

Wenn ich meinen Rückblick mache, versuche ich immer mich an Dinge zu erinnern, die nicht funktioniert haben und die, die für mich ganz prima funktioniert haben. Blogging ist jedenfalls auf der Liste der Dinge, die ich in 2014 wiederbeleben möchte! In der zweiten Jahreshälfte hatte ich etliche Gesundheitliche Probleme und ich bin froh, das sich alles jetzt langsam zu bessern scheint. Eine Operation (auch wenn es nur eine kleine war!) kurz vor den Feiertagen ist jedenfalls nicht auf meiner Liste der Dinge, die ich noch mal machen möchte!

I did a lot more art work last year and I am really happy about that. And this still can improve. One of the things I have up my sleeves for 2♥14 is this:

I will start a new project 365! I really loved the 52 earrings project, I did in 2012, but I spent to much time on organizing the group(s). So this time I will just do it by myself and I will get more creativity into my live, daily! To keep me inspired, I have not chosen just one media that I will use, on the contrary, I definitely want to try out more things and also use materials, that I got for myself to work with and never did. This is one of the rules! The projects will be normally small ones (to keep them managable, especially while travelling!), but if I like and have the time for it, I can go as big as I like. I have a list of things I definitely will incorporate and at the same time keep it open for new ideas that pop up during the next 12 month! There will definitely be polymer clay projects, stamp carving, mixed media art, art journalling, printing, sketching and “art on the go” projects. But who knows what will take my fancy and pop up too? ;-)

Ich habe im vergangenen Jahr viel mehr Kunstprojekte verwirklicht und darüber bin ich sehr froh. Es kann jedoch noch viel besser werden. Und daher habe ich für 2♥14 was neues geplant:

Ich werde ein neues Projekt 365 starten! Das „project 52 earrings“, das ich 2012 gemacht habe, hat mir sehr gut gefallen aber das organisieren der Projektgruppen hat mich sehr viel Zeit gekostet. Daher werde ich es diesmal nur ganz für mich alleine tun und ich werde damit mehr Kreativität in mein Leben einladen, und zwar täglich! Um die nötige Inspiration hoch zu halten werde ich mich diesmal auch nicht auf nur ein Medium beschränken, sondern ganz im Gegenteil mehr Neues ausprobieren und vor allem auch Materialien ausprobieren, die ich mir mal besorgt hatte und dann doch nicht benutzt habe. Das wird auf jeden Fall eine der Regel sein! Die Projekte werde ich eher klein halten (damit sie auch machbar bleiben, besonders wenn ich unterwegs bin!), aber wenn ich Lust dazu habe und die entsprechende Zeit können sie auch gerne größer werden. Ich habe eine Liste von Ideen, die ich sicher ausprobieren möchte und gleichzeitig will ich es offen halten, für Ideen, die sich im Laufe des Jahres zeigen werden. Es wird sicher Polymer Clay Projekte geben, wie auch Stempel-Schnitzen, mixed media Projekte, art journalling, Drucken, Skizzieren und „art on the go“ Projekte. Aber wer weiß schon was mich im Laufe das Jahres alles reizen wird und dann noch dazu kommt? ;-)

Enjoying Colorado (Part 2)

The next adventures are just a round the corner and I still have not caught up with everything! Ah well, will it ever be different? I don´t really think so...;-)) But now I will tell you a bit more about my last week in Colorado:
After meeting so many people, I also wanted to be nothing more than a normal tourist and see some things, well, that needed to be seen...;-)) Without many words, here are some of my impressions...;-))
Die nächsten Abenteuer sind nicht mehr weit und ich habe immer noch nicht alles aufgeholt! Aber was solls, das wird sich wohl nie ändern! Daher erzähle ich Euch jetzt einfach von meiner letzten Woche in Colorado:
nachdem ich mich mit sovielen Leuten getroffen hatte, wollte ich dann auch mal ein ganz normaler Tourist sein, und mir Dinge ansehen, die man halt so gesehen haben sollte. Also ohne viel Worte zeig ich nun noch ein paar meiner schönsten Eindrücke...;-))

Enjoying Colorado (Part 1)

 When the Synergy was over I was ready for some relaxing time! I did not even notice how much until afterwards! On Sunday morning I had to get up really early to go to Atlanta airport. This time I was traveling on my own and the airport was quite far off. I got really, really tiered on the Marta (the public train in Atlanta) and nearly fell asleep again. But I got there in time, did all the controlls, even met some more people from Synergy and waited at the gate. And waited and waited. At some point I thought "Well, this is taking a really long time!" And I looked at the clock to check ... and then it dawned on me: "I should be on my plain RIGHT NOW!" What had happend? I was waiting at the wrong gate! This has never happend to me before and I felt really stupid! On the information board I had droped down one line and got the right destination, but the wrong gate! Luckily everyone was really friendly and I got a stand by for the next flight to Denver, just 1 and a half hour later. Puhh!!! Well, actually I like to travel on seperate plains with my luggage anyway, so in case something happens, at least on of us will survive...;-))
Als die Synergy vorbei war, war ich wirklich reif für ein bisschen Urlaub! Ich hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht mal bemerkt, WIE bereit ich war! Am Sonntag morgen mußte ich sehr früh aufstehen, um zum Flughafen in Atlanta zu kommen. Und nun war ich alleine unterwegs und der Flughafen war ganz schön weit weg. In der Marta (der U-Bahn in Atlanta) wurde ich sehr sehr müde und bin fast eingeschlafen. Aber ich kam rechtzeitig an, ging durch alle Kontrollen durch und hab sogar noch ein paar andere ,die sich auf der Heimreise von der Synergy befanden,  getroffen und setzte mich dann ans Gate, um auf meinen Flug zu warten. Und wartet und wartete. Irgendwann dachte ich: "Mensch, das dauert heute aber echt lang!" Und ich schaute auf eine Uhr ... und dann merkte ich "Sch....! Ich sollte GENAU JETZT eigentlich in meinem Flieger sitzen!" Was war passiert? Ich saß am falschen Gate! Auf der Informationstafel war ich eine Zeile runter gerutscht, gleicher Zielflughafen aber anderes Gate! Das war mir noch nie passiert und ich fühlte mich echt ziemlich doof! Glücklicherweise waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und ich bekam einen Stand By Flug nach Denver, der nur anderthalb Stunden später los flog. Puuhhh!!! Naja, eigentlich fliege ich sowieso lieber in getrennten Flugzeugen mit meinem Gepäck, das wenigstens einer von uns überlebt, falls was passiert...;-))

The weather in Colorado was not too grand, when I got there, but I really enjoyed the drive along the mountains and the scenery. And we went up and up and up! Colorado is the highest state in the U.S. and you really feel the altitude! And my friend lives right up in the mountains for sure!
Das Wetter in Colorado war nicht umwerfend gut, aber mir hat die Fahrt am Rande der Berge und die Landschaft sehr gut gefallen. Und dann gings hoch und höher und noch ein bisschen höher! Colorado ist der höchstgelegene Staat der Vereinigten Staaten und man kann die Höhe wirklich merken! Und meine Freundin wohnt wirklich ganz schön hoch in den Bergen!

The first week my friend still was working, so I meet up with other Colorado peeps...;-)) First with Donna Kato and Peg. Funnily they live only about 15 minutes away from where my friend lives. When I discovered that, it was hard to believe! They have nothing to do with each ather at all .... and live nearly right next door from each other, so to speak! Isnt it a small world?
Anyway Donna and Peg took me to Wilkerson´s Pass, where you have a spectacular view of the Rockies! In Colorado there are 54 14ers (54 mountains higher that 14.000 feet!), as they are called, and some of them are to be seen from this point! I was really wohh-ed at this sight!
Die erste Woche mußte meine Freundin noch arbeiten und so hab ich mich mit meinen anderen Colorado Bekannten getroffen...;-)) Zuerst mit Donna Kato und Peg. Es ist wirklich witzig, das die beiden nur ca. 15 Minuten von meiner Freundin entfernt wohnen. Als ich das heraus gefunden habe, konnte ich es kaum glauben! Sie haben wirklich überhaupt nichts miteinander zu tun ... aber sie wohnen schon fast neben einander, könnte man so sagen! Ist die Welt nicht klein?
Wie auch immer, Donna und Peg haben mich zum Wilkerson´s Pass mit genommen, von dem aus man einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die Rockies hat! In Colorado gibt es 54 14ner (54 Berge, die über 14.00 Fuß, also fast 4300 m hoch sind!), wie sie genannt werden, und einige davon kann man von diesem Punkt aus wunderbar sehen! Mich hat der Ausblick fast umgehauen!

 A couple of days later I meet with Tejae and Jainnie in Colorado Springs. I have had contact with both for quite some time via internet, but we have not meet for real before. But we got on really well right from the start and it was like meeting old friends...;-)) First we went to the grounds of the Broadmoor, an international known hotel. It was still quite cold, but Jainnie was walking around without jacket! This girl is hot, I tell you! We had a short stop over at Jainnie´s house and then went straight to Michel´s to feed some of my crafty needs. There is nothing better that having fun with your crafty friends in a craft store, I can tell you! And it makes hungry, too! Since it was getting a bit late already it took us some time to find a nice place where this ol´vegetarian would also be happy with the food and we ended up in a wonderful, cool brewery with really nice food.
Ein paar Tage später hab ich mich mit Tejae und Jainnie in Colorado Springs getroffen. Ich kannte die beiden schon eine ganze Weile via Internet, aber in Echt hatten wir uns noch nicht getroffen. Wir haben uns gleich von Anfang an super gut verstanden und es war mehr wie wenn man alte Freunde trifft...;-)) Zuerst haben wir einen kleinen Spaziergang in den Anlagen des Broadmoor Hotels gemacht. Es war immer noch ganz schön frisch, aber Jainnie ist sogar ohne Jacke unterwegs gewesen! Diese Dame ist heißblütig, das kann ich Euch sagen...! Wir haben noch einen kurzen Zwischenstop bei Jainnie zu Hause gemacht und sind dann direkt zu Michel´s (einer Supermarktkette, mit Kunst- und Bastelmaterialien) gefahren, um meinen Materialbedarf  zu decken. Es gibt nix besseres, als mit seinen Künstlerfreunden in einem einschlägigen Laden herum zu stöbern, das kann ich Euch flüstern! Und hungrig wird man davon auch! Da es schon ganz schön spät für Mittagessen war, haben wir auch eine ganze Weile gebraucht, bis wir was passendes gefunden habe, wo auch alte Vergetarier mit der Speissekarte zufrieden sind. Wir sind dann in einer kleinen, freakigen Brauerei gelandet, die eine wunderbare Speisekarte hatte, mit der ich auch sehr glücklich war!

After all that, I took some quite time in the wild and watched the birds outside of the house and relaxed some more.
Danach hab ich mir wieder etwas Zeit zum Abschalten genommen, die Vögel vorm Haus beobachtet und ausgespannt.

And the next morning we even had some proper snow!
Und am nächsten Morgen hatten wir sogar richtig Schnee vor den Haus!

 Even the drive was covered! Sogar die Einfahrt was bedeckt!

But with lots of wood, enough food and good company, there is nothing wrong with some snow, right?
Aber mit genügend Holz und Essen, und guter Gesellschaft ist nichts gegen ein bisschen Schnee ein zu wenden, nicht war?

At the end of this amazing week, I had another meet up with Donna and we went to her favourite restaurant in town and got some nice desert afterwards. Donna´s was so huge, she had to take most of it home with her. I have eaten everything up myself (but it was much smaller!)...;-))
An Ende dieser wunderbaren Woche, hab ich mich nochmal mit Donna getroffen und wir sind in ihr Lieblingslokal in der Stadt gewesen. Danach gabs noch Doughnuts oder Kuchen. Donnas Stück was so groß, das sie das meiste mit nach Hause genommen hat. Ich hab meins natürlich komplett aufgegessen (war aber auch kleiner!) ...;-))

wrapping up 2012 and taking it slow!

First of all let me wish you all a very happy, healthy and creative New Year! I hope your holidays were great and you had a wonderful celebration to greet the New Year!

Zu aller erst möchte ich Euch allen natürlich eine fröhliches, gesundes und kreatives Neues Jahr wünschen! Ich hoffe ihr hattet schöne Feiertage und eine tolle Silvesterfeier!

I have been so busy in December and was really looking forward to take some down time over the holidays. But life not always gives you what you are hoping for and I felt very stressed in the last weeks of the old year. Mostly due to my own being over the top! Everthing was just too much! But, as I get older, I at least try to learn and so I promissed myself to slow down NOW! That is something that does not come easy to me, but I am working on it...;-))

Im Dezember war ich so beschäfftigt und ich hatte mich wirklich darauf gefreut über die Feiertage  mal langsam und entspannt zu machen. Aber im Leben kommt es nicht immer so wie man es gerne möchte, leider, und ich war ziemlich gestresst in den letzten Wochen des alten Jahres. Hauptsächlich weil ich selber so aufgedreht war und einfach nicht zu Ruhe gekommen bin! Es war einfach alles zu viel! Aber, man wird ja älter, und ich versuche zumindest aus meinen Fehlern zu lernen und daher hab ich mir selbst versprochen JETZT langsam zu machen und zu entspannen. Das ist nicht leicht für mich, aber ich arbeite daran....;-))

Anyway tomorrow school starts again, the news from Australia are getting better and the holidays are finally over. So its time to get back to bussiness as usual .... and I am really enjoying it! I finally found the time to get my new calenders out, think about what will come up and what got finished with the old year. Lovely time of reflextion!

Wie auch immer, morgen fängt die Schule wieder an, die Neuigkeiten aus Australien werden auch langsam besser und die Feiertage sind jetzt definitiv vorbei. Es wird Zeit, dass der Alltag wieder einkehrt... und ich freue mich richtig darauf! Ich hab endlich die Zeit gefunden meine neue Kalender raus zu holen, darüber nach zudenken, was jetzt so alles ansteht und was mit dem alten Jahr beendet wurde. Ich liebe die Zeit der Reflektion!

I closed my survey for the Synergy 3 and now I will work on the last links and get the collected pictures in a decend form. Still a lot to do, but I can do it in my time, which is very good.
The "52 earrings challenge" and the "club 52", which I also moderated for Polyclaykunst.de, have come to an end. And I am proud and happy, that I have done it! You can see all the earrings I have made during the last year in the pictures! Great to see them all together at last. 
I was really tempted to start another challenge, but this is deffinitly not the time right now! There are still so many other things, that need to be finished, before I can jump into a new challenge. And this time I will stick with it! So I guess my challenge for 2013 is to finish all the things, I already started, and say "no" to new projects until I really have the time and space for it!

Ich habe nun die Umfrage für die Synergy 3 geschlossen und werde jetzt an den Links und den gesammelten Bildern arbeiten. Immer noch ziemlich viel zu tun, aber ich kann es jetzt in meinem eigenen Tempo tun, das ist schon mal sehr gut! Die "52 earrings challenge" und der "Club 52", denn ich für Polyclaykunst.de moderiert hatte, sind beendet. Und ich bin froh und auch stolz, das ich es geschafft habe! Die vielen Ohrringe, die ich im Laufe des Jahres gemacht habe, sind in den Bilder gezeigt. Und es ist wunderbar sie alle zusammen zu sehen!
Ich bin schon fast wieder der Versuchung erlegen, eine neue Challenge zu beginnen, aber es ist momentan wirklich nicht die richtige Zeit für mich! Ich habe immer noch so viele andere Dinge, die erst fertig gestellt werden wollen, bevor ich mich auf neue Dinge stürze. Und diesmal werde ich mich auch daran halten! Ich glaube meine Herausforderung für 2013 wird es sein, mich auf das zu konzentrieren, was ich angefangen habe und und zu neuen Dingen "Nein" zu sagen, bis ich wirklich Zeit und Raum für Neues habe!

....new books, earrings and lifes ramblings

I know, I know it has been far too long since I have shared something with you the last time. After our summer holidays I had the best intentions to update my blog and write regularily again. But actually in my life nothing ever goes according to plan! I mean somethimes I even wonder why the heck I plan at all, it seams such a waste of time. And the last two weeks have been a real helter skelter, good and bad and it did really make it difficult for me to keep on track!

Ich weiß, ich weiß es ist schon wieder viel zu lange her, das ich das letzte Mal geschrieben habe und etwas mit euch geteilt habe. Nach unseren Sommerferien hatte ich auch wirklich die besten Intentionen und wollte sofort weiter bloggen. Aber manchmal hab ich das Gefühl, in meinem Leben funtioniert das einfach nicht mit "nach Plan". Manchmal glaube ich, es ist so schlimm, das ich mich eigentlich schon wunder, das ich überhaupt noch plane! Es kommt mir oft wie reine Zeitverschwendung vor! Und die letzten beiden Wochen waren wirklich eine Achtebahnfahrt ohne gleichen, im Guten wie in Schlechten. Und sowas macht es mir wirklich schwer meine Pläne zu verfolgen!

 I was looking forward to have my new book on the table when coming home, but it was not there! I had no idea why not and I had to investigate. It was only a minor hick up at the printers, but it made my book come out two weeks late. Well, I can live with that. But what really knocked me down was, that I had to learn that one of my colleges, who had been working on that very book with me for half a year, had died the previous week. I was completty struck by that news and paralized for at least a week. She was quite a bit younger than myself and she leaves a husband and a young daughter. I will miss her a lot and I will always remember her positive, lively ways! I am so sorry, that you did have to go, K.M.K...!!!

Ich hatte mich schon darauf gefreut mein neuestes Buch bei meiner Rückkehr auf dem Tisch vor zu finden, aber es war nicht da! Keine Ahnung warum eigentlich nicht und ich mußte erst nachforschen. Es war nur eine kleine Verzögerung beim Drucker, aber dewegen kam mein Buch mit zwei Wochen Verspätung raus. Naja, das kann ich ganz gut verkraften. Was mir aber wirklich den Boden unter den Füßen weggezogen hat, war, das ich erfahren mußte, das eine meiner Kolleginen, mit der ich genau an diesem Buch das letzte halbe Jahr zusammen gearbeitet hatte, die Woche vorher verstorben war. Ich war völlig fertig von diesen schlimmen Neuigkeiten und in der Woche danach völlig unfähig einen klaren Gedanken zu fassen. Sie war einiges jünger als ich selbst und hinterlässt einen Mann und eine junge Tochter. Ich werde sie sehr vermissen und mich immer an ihre positive, lebhafte Art erinnern! Es tut mir so Leid, das Sie jetzt schon gehen mußten, K.M.K....!!

Yesterday I got my second book, in Czech and in Slovakian!! It is really funy to have your own book in a language that you do not read, but I am very happy that I have it here and it will be sold in two more countries!
Gestern habe ich mein zweites Buch zugeschickt bekommen, aber ich Tschechisch und Slovakisch!!! Es ist schon sehr lustig das eigene Buch in Sprachen vor sich zu haben, die man noch nicht einmal ansatzweise verstehen kann! Aber ich bin glücklich darüber, das es hier ist und das es in zwei weiteren Ländern verkauft wird!

Yes, and there are all the other projects, I have to pick up again und continue working on, like the 52 earrings challenge, developing new tutorials and projects, preparing the next workshops and speeches, some more translations and of course to more art work!!!
Ja und dann gibt es natürlich auch noch all die anderen Projekte, die ich wieder aufnehmen möchte und weiter führen will, wie die "52 earrings challenge", neue Tutorials und Projekte, die entwickelt werden wollen, den nächsten Workshop und die nächsten Reden vor zu bereiten, neue Übersetzungen und natürlich mehr Kunst machen!!!!

Oh and I am also busy planing my trip to the U.S. next spring and try to figure out the best way how to get from here to there and what I should do while I am there. I am pretty exited about it! Visiting the U.S. has been on my dream list for years and years now, and I can not believe I am finally that close to actually do it!

Oh und ich bin auch schon gut damit beschäfftigt meine Reise in die U.S.A. im Frühling zu planen, raus zu finden, wie ich am Besten von A nach B komme und was ich alles machen möchte, wärend ich dann da bin. Ich bin schon ganz schön aufgeregt! In die U.S.A zu reisen ist schon soooo lange auf meiner Wunschliste gewesen und ich kann es kaum glauben, dass es nun doch endlich wahr wird und gar nicht mehr so lange hin ist!

And the next big thing for me is my son leaving home!!! It is only a couple more days until he is packing his things and leaving for Australia!!!! It does feel very strange to let him go! I can not belive that he is ready and old enough to do such a big adventure. But I guess that is the way all mothers feel, when their first born goes out into the world! 

Ja und der nächste große Brocken steht mir schon bevor: mein Sohn geht von zu Hause weg!!! Nur noch ein paar wenige Tage und dann packt er seine 7 Sachen und geht nach Australien!!! Es fühlt sich schon seeeehr komisch an, ihn einfach ziehen zu lassen! Ich kann es irgendwie noch nicht glauben, dass er soweit ist, sowas zu tun und alt genug ist, um so ein großes Abenteuer allein zu bestehen. Aber ich vermute mal, das alle Mütter sich so fühlen, wenn das erste Kind sich auf macht und in die Welt hinaus zieht!

Up and down and up again

After such a lot of activities, I am not surprised, that I need some time to recharge! Last week was hectic and there were some final corrections, that had to be made for my book, as always ASAP! And after that I thought, I would take it slow and relax for a bit. But there were other things, mainly the dreadful paperwork, to be done and my body was screeming for down time. And my body is very wise and clever: if I don´t give it what it wants, it just makes me do it! So I caught some strange bug, and it was like someone had pulled my plug: no more energy! I still did do a couple of things, but very slowly!! So now I am also very slowly coming back from hiding and try to get all my stuff sorted!
Nach so vielen Aktivitäten, bin ich gar nicht überrascht, dass ich so ausgepowerd bin! Letzte Woche war noch mal sehr hektisch und, wie üblich auf den letzten Drücker, musten noch ganz eilig einige Korrekturen an meinem Buch so schnell wie möglich fertig gemacht werden! Und danach dachte ich, ich könnte mal ein bisschen eine ruhige Kugel schieben und mich etwas regenerieren. Aber Pustekuchen, es gab noch so viel anderes was unbedingt erledigt werden wollte (hauptsächlich der furchtbare Papierkram), und mein Körper lechtzte schon nach Entspannung. Und mein Körper ist ziemlich clever und wenn ich nicht drauf höhre was ich brauche, werde ich kurzer Hand einfach mal dazu gezwungen! Das Spiel kennen wir schon! Und so hab ich mir auch gleich was eingefangen, und es war wie wenn jemand mal einfach den Stecker gezogen hätte: Null Energie! Ich hab zwar trotzdem noch ein kleines bisschen was gemacht, aber alles gaaaanz langsam! Und jetzt komm ich gaaanz langsam wieder aus meinem Versteck und versuch mal ein bisschen Ordnung zu schaffen!

What I still did was making my weekly earrings! The top ones are for week #28. I could not get my fingers off the nice things, that Barbe had sent me. So I took two tiny gears, two tiny blue glass beads, two orange polymer clay beads, which I drew on and put it all together with my favourite cooper wire. I must say I am very pleased how they turned out! A lot of the earrings, I had made have been quite big, but these are just the perfect size and very wearable AND cool! I am happy!

Was ich jedoch immer weiter gemacht habe, sind meine wöchentlichen Ohrringe. Die ganz oben auf dem Bild sind diejenigen, die ich für die 28.Woche gemacht habe. Ich konnte meine Finger nicht von den tollen Sachen, die mir Barbe geschickt hatte, lassen. Daher hab ich zwei kleine Zahnrädchen, zwei kleine blaue Glasperlen, zwei orangene Polymer Clay Perlen, die ich noch bemalt habe, genommen und habe alles mit meinem Lieblings-Kupferdraht verbunden. Und ich kann nur sagen ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, wie sie geworden sind! Viele der Ohrringe, die ich gemacht habe, sind relativ groß, aber diese hier haben genau die richtige Größe sind sehr gut zu tragen UND cool!! Ich bin sehr glücklich damit!

The next ones are the earrings for week# 29 and the theme was microscopic. I had a look at some microscopic photos and I really love the structures and wild colors some of them have. So I made some sketches and tried to converted it into polymer clay. As always they turned out slightly different, but they are fun and unusual colores ( for me at least!).
The "52 earrings a year" group has become quite small now, but I hope that is due to it being in the middle of summer now! But still there are great ideas in the mosaics anyway!

Das zweite paar Ohrringe sind diejenigen, die ich für die 29. Woche gemacht habe. Das Thema war microscopisch. Ich habe mir einige Microfotografien angesehen und ich finde die Strukturen und die wilden Farben bei manchen wirklich faszinierend. Danach habe ich einige Skizzen gemacht und versucht das ganze in Polymer Clay zu übetragen. Natürlich sind sie wieder ein bisschen anders geworden, aber sie sind lustig und haben ungewöhnliche Farben (zumindest für mich!).
Die "52 earrings a year" Gruppe ist ganz schön geschrumpft, aber ich hoffe das liegt hauptsächlich daran das es gerade mitten im Sommer ist! Es gibt aber trotzdem immer in jedem Mosaik tolle Ideen!
