February 2016's 9th Annual Creative Arts Fest - Cabin Fever - is going to rock it once again. There is no other event like it in the US - one where you can choose from 16 talented and highly diverse artist/instructors.
Over the past 8 1/2 years, we have striven to bring you some of the best and brightest artist/instructors available to Cabin Fever and Master Class Camp. Cabin Fever, in its 9th year is no different and once again, a premier event offering workshops from:

2016 is near!!!

We are already way into December and I can hardly believe that 2015 is so close to it´s end already!
December is always a busy month for me and I guess for everyone else as well. I still want to take the time to close some of my projects and most of all plan for the new year! I already know that 2016 will be a busy year for me. The first half is jam packed with travel plans and I am looking forward to see lots of friends again and make new ones on the way.

So today I will tell you about my schedule for 2016 and over the next couple of days I will give you more information about each event. So stay tuned there is much to look forward to!

Master Class Camp - July 2015

Registrationfor Master Class Camp 2015 (July 8-13, 2015 in Laurel, MD.) are open!

Instructors include: Jana Roberts Benzon, Dan Cormier, Jeffrey Lloyd Dever, Lindly Haunani, Tracy Holmes, Anke Humpert, Doreen Gay-Kassel, Jana Lehmann and Eugena Topina hosted by Kathryn Ottman.

My workshop “Hungry Fungus” Necklace is a project based master class, but we will also explore a lot about techniques!

Learn my technique for making and designing the “hungry fungus” eye catching necklace! The light weight, hollow pendant are are sure to get everyone to ask: “How did you do that?”

In this comprehensive master class, and I will guided you through my design process while providing the encouragement to experiment and play with your own ideas to create a necklace that reflects your creativity. In addition, you will learn how to:

• mix and match custom colors
• create intriguing mysterious eye catchers
• construct hollow lentil beads (with Anke's secret tool!)
• distress the surface of your beads
• assemble your necklace
• use paints to enhance your design.

I will includes lots of tips, tricks and ideas throughout each step! This technique is playful and organic at the same time. Imagine all the possibilities!
